The Dunmore is located on Harbour Island, one of the Out Islands in the Bahamas. Harbour Island can be reached in 20 minutes from the North Eleuthera International Airport (ELH) by water taxi transportation or from Nassau by chartered aircraft or a Fast Ferry, as it is only 50 miles northeast of Nassau. Airport concierge service from North Eleuthera Airport to The Dunmore is available at a rate of $100 per person.
From the U.S.
Connect via Ft. Lauderdale or Miami to North Eleuthera on Continental Connections or American Airlines. There are a couple of flights a day. North Eleuthera is our local airport and is approximately 20 minutes from the hotel. The trip involves taking a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport to the dock, a 5 minute water taxi across to Harbour Island and then a short taxi ride to The Dunmore. Transport is always available.

The Bahamas Fast Ferry
There is a Fast Ferry that leaves Nassau daily for Harbour Island at 8:00 AM and arrives at 11:00 AM. Costs $65 pp one way. The same ferry returns from Harbour Island to Nassau leaving at 3:50 PM arriving Nassau at 6:20 PM. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME IT RUNS. THE FERRY PORT IS A 45 MINUTE TAXI FROM THE NASSAU AIRPORT.
